The Regular Membership Meeting of September 17th 2025 was called to order at 12:00 pm by President Albert Janda followed by an opening prayer by Brother T. C. Nash. President Albert Janda opened the meeting discussing that our annual October 4th Festival is almost here and that the tickets are selling fast and this is the last chance to get an advance ticket. President Janda reminded everyone that we will have 4 cash door prizes totaling $1000 and that you must be present to win. He then introduced our special guest Jackie Hill Murphy and spoke about her group that helps out members of all the ILA locals that are in need. President Janda presented her with an award of $700 dollars from our retiree’s membership to help with her group. Ms. Murphy thanked everyone and spoke about what they are doing now to help others. President Janda then introduced Brother Sammy Wells who spoke about our Cigna retirement and that Cigna has several changes recently. The first is that Cigna will no longer be working with Amplifon (hear aides) and that our new preferred vendor will be Start Hearing. Hearing aids that were brought through Amplifon in 2025 or before will be covered by their three-year manufacturer’s warranty. The second change is that the Cigna Wrap-Around Plan’s maximum Out-of-Pocket expenses have been raised from $500,000 to $750,000 effective immediately. The minutes of the previous meetings and the treasurer report were read with a motion to accept both as read was made and seconded. Approved by the body. Under new business President Janda reminded the body that the executive board is still in need of one more director and that if anyone would like to be considered please let Brother Weber know. He also asked if anyone could help setting up the tables for our October 4th festival please let us know. President Janda addressed the body and told everyone that Brother Victor Bass will be going into the hospital to have triple by pass surgery and asked everyone to keep him in our prayers. President Janda told the body that the meals will be only $5 at the October’s regular meeting. Drawings were then held for the 2 $30 gift cards and the winners were #3425464 Brother T. C. Nash and #342572 Sister Darlene. The number lottery winners were Brother Joe Carwile and Brother G. L. Simpson. The meeting was closed with a closing prayer by Brother Jerry Hibbeler..
