As of this newsletter the strike action has been suspended for 90 days until January 15th 2025. In this interim the ILA and USMX are continuing to negotiate a new contract. President Janda told the membership that he had spoken with Local ILA 24 and that President Gabriel Garza said that wind/rain jackets embossed will be available thru ILA 24 for a substantial discount. Normally these jackets sell for approximately $80 and will be available for only $35. Drawing of the number lottery was made with winners being Brother Ralph Thomson and Sister Carolyn Burke. The 3 $25 gift cards winners were Brother’s Rolando Hinojosa, Danny Hernandez and Sister Martha Russell. Congratulations to all the winners. The fundraiser of the Buck Royalty line of Custom Cutlery was drawn and the ticket number was #4993593 of which no one there was holding the winning ticket. With approval of the membership we will wait till the next membership meeting to redraw in hopes some one will come forward to claim the prize. As of our November’s meeting if no one claims it we will redraw the number and continue to draw till we have a winner. Check your tickets(red tickets) and be sure to bring them to the meeting. Good luck. Having no other business to discuss the meeting was adjourned and a closing prayer by Brother James Weiskoft closed the meeting.
